Comme son nom l’indique, iMedia converter pour Windows est convertisseur de média pour Windows… Il permet de convertir vos films DVD, vos fichiers audio et vidéo d’une manière déconcertante de facilité. Vous pourrez par exemple convertir les fichiers tels que MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV, en extraire l’audio et/ou la vidéo pour la lire sur votre iPhone (ou iPod touche 4, iPod Nano, Apple TV, ou même des machines archaïque (krkrkr :-> ) telles que le Zune, l’Archos, le Creative Zen, ou d’autres téléphones dits intelligents comme les Android HTC.)

Une des particularités de iMedia Converter est qu’il enlève les protections DRM et supprime toutes les restrictions de copies de vos originaux, vous permettant ainsi de faire des copies de sécurité de vos films en toute simplicité. En outre l’application est 100% compatible Windows 7, évidemment. Une version Mac est également disponible.

Pour résumer les propriétés de cette application:

La Dev Team à travers son blog invite donc des volontaires pour tester cette nouvelle méthode de JB:

Traduction :

« Au cours de ce week-end de Noël, nous allons publier une version de Redsn0w qui implémente le « plan de sauvegarde » pour le jailbreak 4.2.1 untethered. Nous demandons votre aide pour tester cette version et trouver des bugs avant de faire un communiqué offciel!
(Si vous avez un iPhone 3G, ou un vieux ipt2g bootrom ou iPhone 3G, et vous avez déjà un jailbreak tethered , Il suffit d’utiliser la dernière version de redsn0w)
Pour bien gérer mes choses, ce sera un programme de test bêta uniquement pour Mac. Nous demandons également que tous les bénévoles * * n’ont pas besoin d’ ultrasn0w (en cas où les choses tournent très mal).
Le « plan de sauvegarde » exige un IPSW 4.2b3 sur votre Mac, et que Cydia a votre SHSH 4.2b3 .
Nous travaillons également sur une technique qui pourrait s’appliquer au 4,1 IPSWs, mais ce n’est pas l’objectif à l’heure actuelle.) »

PkgBackup passe à la version 4.2.4 aujourd’hui ,Pour ceux qui n’ont pas essayé les versions précedentes , PkgBackup est une application qui permet de sauvegarder et de restorer des packages et les sources de cydia , Cette application qui s’installe sur le springboard comporte plusieurs options comme l’auto-backup ou la restauration programmée.

Grâce à Dropbox vous pouvez désomrais sauvegarder et restaurer vos tweaks et sources en choisissant un mode de sauvegarde dans les serveurs de cette application ou simplement sur votre Idevice Vous n’aurez plus besoin des FTP et SSH pour le faire .

Tutoriel : Transférer sa connexion internet d’un PC vers son iPhone/iPod/iPad (sans jailbreak)

Sur le net, on peut trouver beaucoup de tutoriels expliquant comment utiliser son iPhone pour accéder à interet sur son PC, avec MyWi par exemple.

Mais imaginons le contraire : vous êtes au bureau. Pendant votre pause de midi, vous aimeriez faire une partie de Need for Speed en ligne sur votre iPhone, mais voilà : le réseau 3G est indisponible, et votre patron ne veut pas vous donner la clé du réseau WiFi de la boîte. S’offrent alors à vous deux solutions : où vous tentez de pirater la clé du réseau, où vous suivez ce petit tutoriel qui va vous expliquer comment récupérer la connexion Ethernet d’un PC et la re-transmettre en WiFi.

Vous aurez besoin de :

  • Un PC avec Windows Vista ou 7 (je n’ai pas de MAC donc je ne sais pas comment faire dessus, vous m’en voyez désolé)
  • Une connexion internet câblaire (Ethernet) fonctionnelle
  • Une carte WiFi capable d’émettre (toutes les cartes récentes le font, cepandant certaines Clés WiFi ne le permettent pas)

Technique utilisée

Nous allons créer un réseau AdHoc (WiFi) depuis le PC puis activer le partage de la connexion internet câblaire.

Etape 1 : Création du réseau AdHoc

Nous allons créer le réseau AdHoc, courament utilisé pour échanger des fichiers, partager des imprimantes ou une connexion internet (ce qui nous intéresse ici).

  1. Allez dans le Centre Réseau et Partage de Windows (Démarrer > Réseau > Centre Réseau et Partage)
  2. A gauche, cliquez sur Gérer les Réseaux Sans-Fil
  3. Sur la barre en haut, cliquez sur Ajouter
  4. Dans la fenêtre qui s’ouvre, sélectionnez Créer un Réseau AdHoc puis cliquez sur Suivant
  5. Dans Nom Réseau entrez ce que vous voulez, ce sera le SSID du réseau sur lequel se connecter depuis l’iPhone/iPod/iPad
  6. Dans Type de Sécurité sélectionnez Aucune Authentification (Open)
  7. Cochez Enregistrer ce réseau, puis cliquez sur Suivant

Laissez l’utilitaire travailler, puis si il vous demande de partager votre connexion vous devez accepter et passer directement à l’étape 3, sinon continuez à l’étape 2.

Etape 2 : Partage de la connexion câblaire

Nous allons donner l’instruction à Windows d’autoriser le partage de la connexion câblaire, pour pouvoir y accéder à partir de l’iPhone/iPod/iPad.

  1. Retournez dans le Centre Réseau et Partage (Démarrer > Réseau > Centre Réseau et Partage)
  2. A gauche, cliquez sur Modifier les Paramètres de la Carte
  3. Faites un clic droit sur Connexion au Réseau Local, puis sélectionnez Propriétés et rendez-vous dans l’onglet Partage
  4. Cochez Autoriser d’autres utilisateurs du réseau à se connecter via la connexion Internet de cet ordinateur
  5. Cliquez sur OK

Etape 3 : Connexion du réseau AdHoc

Nous allons enfin demander au PC de se connecter au réseau AdHoc et ainsi rendre possible la connexion depuis l’iPhone/iPod/iPad.

  1. Retournez une dernière fois dans le Centre Réseau et Partage (Démarrer > Réseau > Centre Réseau et Partage)
  2. A droite, cliquez sur Se connecter ou se Déconnecter
  3. Dans la fenêtre qui s’ouvre normalement en bas à droite, cliquez sur le nom du réseau que vous avez créé puis sur Connecter
  4. Sur l’iPhone/iPod/iPad, rendez-vous dans l’application Réglages, désactivez le mode avion si celui-ci est activé puis touchez WiFi
  5. Activez le WiFi si celui-ci est désactivé puis touchez le réseau qui porte le nom que vous avez choisi dans l’étape 1.
  6. Une fois la connexion effectuée, lancez Safari, entrez l’adresse d’un site (par exemple www.iphone4.fr) pour vérifier si le site s’affiche ; si c’est le cas, félicitations !
